Quand j'ai entendu certaines critiques à la sortie de l'album , j'etais pret à defendre corps et âme l'un des groupes phares de mon mp3 , malheureselent , faut bien l'avouer , ils ont fait dla merde ...
Dommage ...

t'en as pas marre de proposer du bruit aux gens, Champi ?

Je vais pas m'arreter sur ce commentaire tant il est vrai que Celtic Frost est une musique difficile d'accès ...
Cela dit , je pense qu'afin d'aborder l'écoute de cet album et pour pouvoir le juger il faut une oreille aiguisée et entrainée , parce que c'est sur que si tu as durant toute ta vie écouter du Lorie , du peut diffilement déceler dans Celtic Frost autre chose que des gros riffs lourdaux de gratte ....

Scar Symmetry c'est de la pop métal : c'est sympa mais tellement vite oublié ....

Si je suis open ! mais ton dernier lien .... c'est trop violent c'est tout ... pour moi c'est du bruit, avec la notion de désagréable que cela induit... rien de plus ...

Ah non, "Totengott" n'est pas violente...Elle est difficile à écouter (et encore, Blut Aus Nord j'ai plus de mal que ça tellement c'est malsain et vomitif, tout en étant génial) certes, mais pas violente, au contraire elle est quand même très atmosphérique.

Djim: je suis quand même assez étonné pour le DVD d'Arcturus, il est pas si mal je trouve (même s'il y a beaucoup trop de plans sur Tore Moren, et pas assez sur le bassiste, c'est débile). Et, évidemment, Vortex ne sera jamais Garm, mais bon...
Quant à The haunted j'ai écouté "Medication" je l'ai trouvée excellente...Après j'ai pas le reste.

Bof, je trouve pas spécialement. je m'attendais à un truc plus théâtral (de ce point de vue, "The chaos path" est effectivement soit ridicule, soti monstrueuse). Mais l'inclusion de danseuses par exemple c'est sympa. Vortex est dans son trip et ça lui va pas mal, Tore joue trop au guitar-hero, Hellhammer est un monstre (putain mais l'intro de "Alone" !!!), Sverd est...concentré. J'aimerais quand même bien les voir en vrai (même si je préfèrerais qu'Ulver se décide à (re)faire des concerts...).
Sinon, quelqu'un va au Hellfest ? (oui je sais c'est un peu tôt, mais bon y'a Immortal déjà, Ephel Duath, Behemoth, Brutal Truth reformé, Napalm Death). Moi avec le bac...Et de toute façon, vu qu'Opeth y étaient l'année dernière ils y seront certainement pas là, donc humpf...

Les gouts, les couleurs, l'arc en ciel.

Djim: je suis quand même assez étonné pour le DVD d'Arcturus, il est pas si mal je trouve (même s'il y a beaucoup trop de plans sur Tore Moren, et pas assez sur le bassiste, c'est débile). Et, évidemment, Vortex ne sera jamais Garm, mais bon...

le live est totalement soporifique, vortex chante vraiment comme une patate et démontre qu'il est un chanteur plus que limité, la setlist est un ensemble de très mauvais choix...
mais la plus grande arnaque, ce sont les bonus, une galerise photos pitoyable, un clip video fait avec des extraits du concert et des effets spéciaux bien nases, et une séance de répetition dans laquelle on voit les types de préparer, et quand ils commencent la repet...clap de fin!!
pour un groupe aussi culte qu'arcturus, (sauf le dernier et bien terne album...), on était quand même en droit d'attendre un truc de bien meilleure qualité.
Pour comparaison, je viens de voir le dvd live de Dismember, un groupe qui a bercé ma jeunesse, qui est tout bonnement excellent, 45min de death old school de tres bonne qualité avec chanteur bourré inside, + un documentaire de 90min sur l'histoire du groupe, rempli d'anecdotes et d'extraits de vieux concerts...

C'est normal que je les trouve ridicule sur scène ?

Concernant the haunted, imaginez le choc mental, le dernier truc que j'avais écouté d'eux, c'était Made Me Do It, et je tombe sur the dead eye, c'est mou, formaté, à la limite du pop metal, sans âme, sans couilles, de la soupe sans originalité...

Si The Haunted fait du pop-metal, alors je pense qu'on peut sans problèmes y ranger Soilwork; et question originalité, Arch Enemy c'est quand même grave la loose à ce niveau (et putain, mais qu'est-ce que c'est chiant, et quelle production complètement inadaptée).
Après pour le live de la part d'Arcturus je savais pas à quoi m'attendre vu comme ce groupe est spécial...D'ailleurs, je me demande comment ils pourraient totalement rendre comtpe de leur musique en live (en reprenant Garm ? même pas...). Par contre je le trouve bien Sideshow. Même s'il a perdu l'avant-gardisme des 2 précédents et la beauté d'Aspera, il a quand même beaucoup de qualités (même si le son cache beaucoup trop les guitares).

Sinon ouais putain Monotheist, euh waw...Me manque encore Synagoga satane et Winter mais le reste, pfiou...
