The scheduled October 2008 rotation of the Extended format, as listed in the Magic Floor Rules, has changed. Following the release of the set codenamed "Rock", the following sets will be leaving the Extended format: Invasion, Planeshift, Apocalypse, Odyssey, Torment, Judgment, and Seventh Edition. The rotation previously listed in the floor rules also included Onslaught, Legions™, and Scourge. These three sets are now scheduled to leave Extended in 2009. One years' worth of blocks will leave Extended with every fall Magic release, syncing up Extended rotation with Standard rotation.

Octobre 2008 devait être la sortie des blocs Invasion, Odyssée et Carnage, ainsi que celui de la Septième édition. Mais en octobre 2008, UNIQUEMENT les blocs Invasion et Odyssée et la Septième édition seront sortis. Le bloc Carnage (avec ses fetchs-lands, ses gobelins, etc...) sortira de l'étendu en octobre 2009

Désormais, à l'instar du standard, chaque octobre verra la sortie d'un bloc de l'étendu. On peut voir sur ce mini-calendrier

Octobre 2008 : Blocs Invasion et Odyssée et la Septième édition.
Octobre 2009 : Bloc Carnage
Octobre 2010 : Bloc Mirrodin (et la Huitième édition ?)
Octobre 2011 : Bloc Kamigawa...
