Bonjour à tous,

je me permet de poster ici un petit topo que j'ai fait pour ma page perso d'un autre site au sujet du Legacy :


Les jeux du Legacy

De façon assez simpliste et théorique, Magic The Gathering est régis de la façon suivante :
- Contrôle bat Combo
- Combo bat Aggro
- et Aggro bat Contrôle.

La particularité du Legacy est d'être un format où Aggro-Contrôle est omniprésent, bien plus que dans tout autre format.
Comme pour tous les formats, les decks se doivent d'être joué de façon plus ou moins aggro ou contrôle selon le Match Up auquel ils font fasse. Un deck Aggro-Contrôle a pour but d'imposer une pression sur son adversaire tout en le ralentissant dans son développement.
Ces jeux chamboulent quelque peux la hiérarchie donné auparavant.
Nous nous retrouvons donc avec une situation théorique tel que :
- Aggro-Contrôle bat Combo
- Aggro-Contrôle bat Contrôle
- Aggro bat Aggro-Contrôle
- Aggro bat Contrôle
- Contrôle bat Combo
- et Combo bat Aggro

Ce système fait en sortent que tous, ou presque, les jeux vont chercher à diminuer leurs faiblesses; tout en restant efficace contre les Match Up supposé acquis. Cet état de fait rend le Legacy passionnant et beaucoup plus difficile à appréhender que cette simple règle datant des origines du jeu.

Cette variété de type de jeu, donné par les nombreuses cartes disponibles, nous donne accès à énormément d'archétypes plus ou moins compétitifs selon les métagames locaux. Nous pouvons tout de même dégager une liste de deck considéré comme Deck To Beat (Deck à battre) :

Tier 1 :
- Ad Nauseam Tendrils - Combo
- TempoTresh - Aggro-Controle
- Bant - Aggro-Controle


Tier 2 :
- Merfolk - Aggro-Controle
- Goblins - Aggro
- AggroLoam - Aggro-Controle
- Bant Loam - Aggro-Controle
- TarmoSligh/Zoo - Aggro
- Bridgechorid - Aggro-Combo


Tier 3 :
- ElfBall - Aggro-Combo
- Burn - Combo
- Dragon Stompy - Aggro-Prison
- Armageddon Stax - Controle-Prison
- Eva Green - Aggro-Controle
- Eternal Garden - Controle
- DreadStill - Controle-Combo
- CounterSlivo - Aggro-Controle

Pour être compétitif aujourd'hui, un jeu ce doit de résister à au moins 2 de ces contraintes :
- être insensible à la gravehate,
- à moins de jouer soit même Countrepoids/Toupie, il faut éviter une courbe de mana à 1 et 2 (voir 3 maintenant) pour ne pas se retrouver locker par,
- avoir une base de mana saine pour ne pas se faire ouvrir par les Magus/Blood Moon Wasteland.

La réalité est peut être cruelle, mais la naissance de nouveaux archétypes se fera de plus en plus rare tellement il existe de contrainte.
Jouer des basics land pour résister aux Moon Effects, jouer Aether Vial pour ne pas empaler nos créatures sur Contrepoids ou encore ne pas abuser de la récursion du cimetière sont des solutions, mais les jeux s'heurterons à d'autres problèmes et notamment au problème de la vitesse, élément qui est devenu déterminant.

Bonne présentation générale du meta actuel, mais il y a un truc qui me chiffonne.

Contrôle bat Combo

Si contrôle c'est Togless/Landstill et combo c'est ANT/Burn (voire Dredge), on peut plutôt dire que Contrôle se fait plier par Combo. Les vraies menaces pour Combo c'est les couples Counterbalance/Top et CotV/Trinisphere.

Quand je vois ma liste de deck établie il ya un peu plus de 6 mois,
on se rend tout de suite compte que le Legacy est un format qui évolue très très vite !

C'ets pour ca qu'il est captivant car il faut s'adapter perpétuellement à l'évolution de ce format

ça te dit qu'on fasse une grande mise à jour de ce topic, parce qu'effectivement ça a bien bougé le format. Classer en Tier, et mettre les decks made in MC?

On pourrait proposer une banque de decks, comme la banque d'images que j'host dans le forum Magic sur la Toile ...

Je me tiens pas mal à jour des différents archétypes disponible et joué/compétitif.

Tu aurais besoin de quoi comme info ???

Je suis aussi pour, et j'apporterai ma pierre à l'édifice si un coup de main n'est pas de trop.

Bon bah il faudrait recenser tous les decks du meta : tier 1, tier 2 et tier 3. et proposer une liste standard au format mws. On pourrait utiliser la rubrique deck perso pour avoir des listes propres au format MC.

Ensuite recenser tous les decks du forum, même les vieux et proposer la dernière liste optimale au format mws.

Ca demande pas mal de boulot, mais à 3 ça peut le faire ^^

On peut déjà faire un premier point ici. Ce qui serait cool, c'est de proposer les sujets du forum + liens vers un deck MWS. On peut aussi utiliser la rubrique deck perso d'un bot qu'on créerait pour lister tous ces decks.

Certaines liste sont surement à mettre à jour et il y encore beaucoup de liste à ajouter.
Si des archétype vous viennent à l'esprit, vous pouvez juste indiquer le nom, je chercherai une liste.

J'en ai tout un lot moi aussi au format mwDeck.
Ce qui serait cool, c'est de les trier par nom, par type ou tier (surtout par tier en fait)
De mettre ensuite un lien vers le forum MC correspondant (quand il existe), et mettre un lien vers un deck mwDeck que j'hébergerai sur mon mediafire.

Il ne faut pas oublier de mettre les decks random du forum également, car certains sont forts, d'autres moins, mais ils viennent de la communauté du site, ce qui est important.

Je peux commencer à m'occuper de ça ce WE.

Je relance un peu l'idée, mais est-ce utile sachant que le forum n'est pas aussi compétitif que d'autres forums spécialisés en Legacy... ?

D'autres decks, si Ezequiel pouvait trouver des listes, ça serait sympa (mais aller récupérer un pool de listes sur deckcheck serait mieux, non ?).

Je passe sur les decks randoms pour ma part... Le topic, c'est "Archetype du metagame Legacy"... Les randoms sont pas vraiment des archétypes si un ou deux membres jouent le deck en France... Mais si les decks doivent percer, à nous de prouver qu'un deck donné est fort dans le metagame, et optimisé.

Afin de réorganiser clairement le forum, il existera deux post-its :
- Le premier comportera les decks du metagame, qui ont perfé par le passé ou qui perfent encore.
- Le deuxième comportera les decks qui demandent encore de l'optimisation pour devenir des decks dits "archétypes".

Les decks du Tiers 1 auront d'ailleurs l'appellation [archétype] dans leur titre afin de les reconnaître plus facilement.

J'en profiterai par ailleurs pour faire le ménage dans les doublons et sur ce topic une fois que tout ceci sera fait.
