jouer plus controle 3 defense grid 4 trisphere prototype portal enlerver chalice passer le welder a 3?

- steel hellkite : vol. detruit les X.
- sundering titan : pas plus de 2 car doit etre fetché et pas hardcasté
- emperion de platine / ange de platine : l'emperion annule la perte de PV sur les sol-lands et survit aux petit removal mais n'empeche pas de perdre et inversement pour l'ange
- phyrexian metamorph / duplicant : le meta copie artos et créatures. le duplicant exile la créature ce qui est mieux pour gérer le board
- myr battlespere : remplit le board de 4 jetons

- Chalice of the void : contre welder, voltaic key, relic,
- defense grid : rend les sorts quasi incontrables, 2CCM, donc pas trop grave si elle-même est contrée. effet cumulatif. Évite la redondance des trinispheres. Pas d’interférence avec chalice of the void, les mox. Ne nous gène pas puisqu’on ne joue pas de sorts pendant le tour adverse. 
- Bloodmoon / magus of the moon : tue les jeux non-rouges et multi-color
- trinisphere / tangle wire  nous affectent aussi donc ralentissent le jeu en fonction des MU. 3ball interfere avec les mox et calice
- Tangle wire : fonctionne sur un jeu rapide qui a deja etabli son board
et que nous non.
- dynamo thran / grim monolith : le monolith se pose T1 mais la dynamo peut se detap
- staff of nin : bien pour la pioche. pas plus de 2. et bute les 1/1
- staff of domination : combo mana infini avec metalworker
- sensei's divining top : pour épurer la pioche
- Ensnaring bridge :
- Mindslaver : pourri le jeu adverse. se recupere sur welder
- spine of ish sah : fin au supplice!!!

If you are not playing Chalice, Voltaic Key could be a nice addition to the deck. It lets you untap Monolith / Metalworker, but more importantly it comboes with Sensei's Divining Top to draw one extra card (like Goblin Welder).

Another card I want to play in MUD is Prototype Portal. It was suggested by Bruizar on The Source a while ago. It's 4 CMC so Decay proof, and if unanswered can really take over the game. With it, you can:
- imprint a Lodestone Golem and create a new Golem each turn (your opponent soon won't be able to play anything).
- imprint a Sensei's Divining Top and draw one extra card each turn for 1 mana (the token doesn't go on top of your library).
- imprint Voltaic Key and create multiple Voltaic Key tokens each turn (one mana to create a Voltaic Key token, one mana to untap the Portal with it, repeat). You can then use all these keys to draw lots of cards with Top, or make lots of mana with Monolith.
- You can also use it as a pseudo Thran Dynamo, imprinting an artifact land (ideally a Darksteel Citadel for indestructibility), generating 1 mana the first turn, 2 mana the second turn, 3 mana the third turn...
- But the coolest thing is imprinting a Tangle Wire. If you order your triggers correctly, you can end up with 4 Tangle Wire in play (with 4, 3, 2, and 1 counters), forcing your opponent to tap 10 permanents each turn, while you tap only 1 during your upkeep (you have to tap 3 + 2 + 1 + 0 = 6, but you can tap 5 Tangle Wire tokens, including the one you create in response to the trigger).
- Another cool play is imprinting Phyrexian Metamorph. You can then create Phyrexian Metamorph tokens, copying opponent creatures, golems, wurmcoil engines, voltaic keys, or even Prototype Portal itself.

Welder
1) Activate Top to draw a card and put it on top of the library
2) Retaining priority, weld top to the graveyard and return something else
3) The weld resolves, top goes to the graveyard, you get your something else
4) The top ability resolves. You draw a card, but you can't put it on top of your library because it no longer exists (it's in the graveyard)

Key
1) Activate Top to draw a card and put it on top of the library
2) Retaining priority, untap top with voltaic key
3) Retaining priority, tap top to draw a card and put it on top of the library
4) The first top ability resolves. You draw a card and put top on top of your library
5) The second top ability resolves. You draw the top itself, and can't put the top on top of your library because it no longer exists (it's in your hand)

I've been playing MUD for awhile and started out with the goblin welder, I feel the 12 post version of the deck is a lot more consistent in being able to fight through denial alot easier with using more land and having less dependency on Welder or Worker. The argument with both versions is Power vs Consistency, depends on the meta id say. loved the video
